Which astrology type should I follow?

There are different types of astrology and astrology newbies often feels confused about what type of astrology should they follow? 

Their majority concerns with choosing between tropical astrology a.k.a western astrology vs sidereal astrology a.k.a Vedic astrology. 

Tropical astrology vs Sidereal astrology 

By origin, sidereal astrology has its roots in ancient Hindu mysticism and its popular in Indian astrology.  Its emphasis on cosmic bodies’ “real” positions, instead of on how they “move” relative to our perspective. It references the influence of stars from billions of light years away.

Unlike sidereal, the tropical astrology is based on how we see the stars from here on earth, rather than on their fixed positions in the heavens. It is mainly dependent on the Babylonian, Greek, and Egyptian astrological traditions that have given rise to “modern” civilization and its popular in west.

The tropical zodiac is fixed with respect to the Sun-Earth annual cycle, and the sidereal zodiac is fixed with respect to the stars and that's why there is a discrepancy of 24-degree between tropical and sidereal zodiac signs. Both are valid symbolic divisions of the ecliptic in the context of their respective traditions, but it affects the entire calculation of the celestial bodies under each astrology system.

Here arises a question!

Which astrology type is accurate? 

Well, It's a never-ending debate. Some perceives tropical astrology is accurate while some prefers the sidereal astrology. Despite of which type of astrology you follow; it will always speak its truths through the stars. Heaven do have divine plans for everyone- even if you are a non-believer. 

Always keep three things in mind while choosing between tropical vs sidereal astrology:

 1)It's the matter of preference. Choose the one you are more drawn towards, or which resonates to you more as compared to other.

2)Choose the one you are adept in. Generally, it is believed that tropical astrology can be a good start for an astrology newbie as compared to sidereal astrology. Although it is relatively rigid and depends on calculations made thousands of years ago but it's very to the point and that's why, it's easier to comprehend comparatively.

3) Tropical astrology is believed to be focused upon physical/earthy effects of planets on us. While sidereal astrology is focused on the mystical/spiritual effects of planets on us. So, you can choose; according to which sort of affects you are intended to decode. For example, if you like to figure out the psychological effects of an event then tropical astrology is good for you while if you are interested to predict an actual event then go for the sidereal astrology. This will give you more precise results.

Some astrologers use both type of astrology at a time. It can be a good practice if you want to give a double check to your readings or predictions. Because, if one event seems promised in one type of astrology, it should be obvious in all other types of astrology too. Shouldn't it?
