Why astrology is NOT a nonsense?

The study of astrology is based on the belief that celestial objects like the sun, moon, and planets have an effect on human life and influence personality, relationships, and events. Astrologers examine the position of celestial bodies in the zodiac signs at the time of a person's birth and the angles between them to make predictions about the individual's character, career, and life events.

However, this notion lacks scientific evidence and is considered a pseudoscience by the scientific community. They see astrology as a form of superstition and belief in supernatural forces, rather than a legitimate field of study. The idea that astrological predictions are often accurate may be due to factors like confirmation bias, subjective interpretation, and the Barnum effect, but there is no credible scientific evidence to support astrological claims.

On the other hand, science recognizes that celestial objects emit energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation, including light, heat, and X-rays, which can penetrate the Earth's atmosphere and impact the planet and its living beings, physically. For instance, the energy from the sun drives the Earth's weather and sustains life, while the moon affects tides, and star energy contributes to background radiation. Some scientists also believe that Jupiter's gravity played a role in stabilizing the orbits of inner planets and creating conditions suitable for life on Earth.

However, science's understanding of non-physical phenomena such as emotions, consciousness, and spirituality is limited, and astrology is based on the non-physical impact of celestial objects. The scientific method is not equipped to study or understand non-physical phenomena, making astrology and science two separate fields of study.

Science does not accept anything that does not meet scientifically proven standards and principles of accuracy. There is no scientific way of testing the authenticity of non-physical phenomena, making the idea of proving astrology scientifically absurd.

Every object, including celestial objects, possesses energy that can be transferred or converted but cannot be created or destroyed. Scientists agree that celestial objects have physical impacts on humans, such as the exposure to non-ionizing radiation from the sun causing health problems or UV radiation causing skin damage.

However, there are also the non-physical impacts of celestial objects on humans that cannot be studied through science because of its limited understanding of non-physical phenomena. Concepts like dark matter, dark energy, consciousness, emotions, and intentionality are considered non-physical and cannot be directly observed or measured using current scientific methods. Scientists are working to develop new methods and technologies to study these phenomena and gain a better understanding.

Astrology, on the other hand, focuses on observing and analyzing the non-physical, mystical, spiritual, and psychological impacts of celestial objects on humans. It's true that astrological predictions are not always 100% accurate but the understanding of astrology is constantly evolving, allowing for a deeper understanding of the non-physical impact of celestial objects on humans.

According to those who practice and believe in astrology, its benefits include a deeper understanding of oneself and others, improved relationships, guidance in life decisions, and insight into strengths and weaknesses. Astrology also provides comfort and a sense of connection to the larger universe.
